Seeing Stars

It proves rare when I hand out 5 star ratings. At one time, 4.5 star ratings were the norm for movies fantastic. However, as it stands, two movies have captivated my film-heart and earned the complete, shining, and unbelievable fifth star: Woody Allen’s The Purple Rose of Cairo and François Truffaut’s Shoot the Piano Player.

There may be better films but they aren’t for me.
