Iron & Wine, Cold War Kids (2011)

Iron & Wine went all funked out and upbeat (in comparison to previous albums) and the Cold War Kids got singing lessons and music writing tips. These things should not have happened. Seriously, bands that are raw and rough don’t need to clean up their sound–lest they start sounding mass-produced.
