The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a thriller that delivers on several fronts: corporate war, gender/economic turmoil, journalistic drama, romantic twists, mass-murdering scoundrels, trials of the dysfunctional rich, computer hacking, library work and research, etc. It’s a film that is so well-crafted that you gladly ignore plot-holes and non-nonsensical turns. Despite the 158 minute run-time, it feels fast and proves completely engrossing. If any sequels arise I’ll be glad to have’em.
